Introducing Shine Rwanda and the Support We Provide Shine Rwanda is a youth-led organization established in Rwanda on 17 October 2020, dedicated to transforming families, preventing family conflicts, empowering young people, and promoting sustainable community development. Our mission is to build peaceful, united families while equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed for responsible family leadership. We provide family mediation and counseling, parenting education, youth leadership development, gender equality awareness, gender-based violence prevention, entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, and community engagement. We also promote mental wellbeing and connect individuals and families facing social challenges with appropriate support services. Our work focuses on five key areas: family promotion, health, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and gender balance. We collaborate with communities and strategic partners to address the root causes of family instability, social vulnerability, and economic hardship. Shine Rwanda welcomes partnerships with donors, government institutions, civil society organizations, foundations, and private-sector actors to expand our programs and strengthen our impact. Through financial assistance, technical expertise, training, and joint project implementation, we aim to reach more vulnerable families and young people.
