About
Boys and Girls Clubs of Botswana (BGCB) is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and young people to reach their full potential and become responsible, confident and productive members of society. We provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where children and youth can learn, grow, develop essential life skills and discover their talents. Our programmes focus on academic success, character development, leadership, healthy lifestyles, sports and recreation, arts, mentorship and life skills. We also work with vulnerable children and young people, including those affected by HIV, poverty and other social challenges, to promote their well-being, resilience and social inclusion. Through partnerships with communities, government departments, civil society organisations, businesses and other stakeholders, we strive to create opportunities that enable every child and young person to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our vision is to build a generation of empowered young people who contribute positively to their families, communities and the development of Botswana.
