About
The Climate Finance Transparency Network Uganda (CFTN-Uganda is a formally registered, multi-stakeholder national platform. It coordinates civil society organizations, grassroots communities, researchers, legal experts, and policymakers to advance transparent, equitable, and accountable climate finance across Uganda and the wider African region. Established to combat opacity, resource diversion, and the limited participation of vulnerable communities in green funding governance, CFTN-Uganda operates through evidence-based advocacy, community-led budget tracking, and localized capacity building. Through initiatives like its Climate Finance Academy, the network demystifies complex international funding systems, deploys open-access monitoring tools, and transforms localized adaptation ideas into bankable, structurally sound project pipelines
