Third Sector Builders

Third Sector Builders (TSB) is an Africa-based connector and advisory partner building stronger pathways to capital, capability and opportunity for youth-led groups and organizations. We work with groups where young people hold real leadership and decision-making power, particularly those doing credible grassroots work but overlooked by traditional funding networks.We stay close to youth-led organizations to understand their vision, priorities and context. Through trusted referrals, direct engagement and locally grounded research, we connect funders with groups they may not otherwise reach. We support partner identification, proportionate due diligence, grant and portfolio management, and learning so funders can invest with confidence while keeping relationships and decisions close to the people leading the work. Where useful, we accompany organizations to strengthen their leadership, systems and financial resilience on their own terms.Our proposed focus areas are youth livelihoods and the future of work; health and rights; and climate and resilience, with an initial geographic focus on East and West Africa. We seek partners who want to move flexible resources to youth-led organizations and invest in their long-term strength and influence.
