About
The Zimbabwe Care Leavers Network (ZiCLAN) is a care-leaver-led organisation established in 2018 that advocates for the rights, welfare, and empowerment of children and young people leaving institutional and alternative care. ZiCLAN works to ensure that every care leaver has access to education, housing, healthcare, employment, skills development, and psychosocial support to transition successfully into independent adulthood. Through advocacy, research, partnerships, and aftercare support, ZiCLAN promotes inclusive care reform and a future where no care leaver transitions into adulthood unsupported.
